I’m obsessed with hand torn, frayed edge linen! It is such an organic look for wedding menus and banners. This seating chart screen printed, and hung in a tree is a beautiful example of how lovely linen is, when incorporated into your event.
My latest obsession: arranging flowers. I took an online floral arranging class at Nicolesclasses.com, and this was one of the assignments. I had a blast creating lovely flower arrangements and bouquets, and this assignment was probably my favorite!! The creativity you can pour into these, and get different looks, is unlimited. This one I think looks like it should be on a woodland fairy princess. Don’t you agree?
I had the privilege of doing the flowers for a wedding, last week. It was such a blast to get creative in the world of flower design. Peach and white roses, dahlias, peach garden roses, eucalyptus, stock and coffee berries made it easy to put together beautiful arrangements. I also put my dying skills to work by dying the ribbon for the boutonnieres and bouquets a lovely peach color. What a fun creative outlet this was. I think I have found a new passion!!
In the stillness of the early morning, it was just the pigeons and me watching the sunrise. A few surfers were out for “dawn patrol”, catching the early morning waves. What a beautiful place to live! What a beautiful place for inspiration! I couldn’t help but think how God’s mercies are new every morning. Seeing the beauty of the sunrise, and all that God creates blesses and inspires me to be creative, and possibly become a morning person!
