Hand Torn Linen

I’m obsessed with hand torn, frayed edge linen!   It is such an organic look for wedding menus and banners.  This seating chart screen printed, and hung in a tree is a beautiful example of how lovely linen is, when incorporated into your event.

Wedding season is upon us! It is a joyous time of year. This year has been busy here at Studio Mamas! Between screen printing and florals for events, I’ve been hoppin’. These gorgeous wedding invitation suites, and journals, which were screen printed for a missionary to sell for her fundraising, are just a few examples of the work happening here. What a joy to work with such sweet designers and brides!!! I love it!!

What’s in a Name

Time for a name change.  Verve Printmaking was very limiting, to say, printmaking.  Studio Mama’s is more encompassing of what goes on here.  Verve Printmaking is now under the umbrella of Studio Mama’s, where art and beauty are created.  The new name evolved from my daughter working here and calling it Studio Mama’s.  It stuck.

Studio Mama’s a place to create beauty.  I like it!

Gold Foil and Gratitude

goldfoil gratitude poster gratitude goldfoil Gallery Wall

I have a new obsession!  Gold Foil prints!  I printed this little lovely this past week, and love the crisp, clean and glamorous look of the gold shine on the bright white!!  See the picture of it framed in white, and smack dab in the middle of my gallery wall.  Do you like it?  And, the words remind me to be grateful:  “Gratitude turns what we have into enough”!!!!  Enough said!
